This is an opportunity for you and the doctor to get to know each other.  You can give the doctor details of your medical history and your current concerns. We let you know our processes and procedures and prepare you to begin your health care journey.

Required first appointment.

In the initial appointment the doctor performs two diagnostic exams to determine the root cause of what is ailing you. The Point of Health Wellness Center not only addresses the symptoms that you're experiencing but also finds and treats the root cause of what's happening in your body.

The doctor will use an AcuGraph, a machine that measures the electrical output of your body and gives a graphical representation of how well your body is functioning. You will also receive an acupuncture treatment.

Required third appointment

The doctor will email your AcuGraph report results and your treatment plan, which includes how often the doctor wants to see you, benchmarks to look for to know if acupuncture is working for you, nutrition to include in your diet to assist your body in healing, herbal formulas to take, and why as well as lifestyle changes to accelerate your healing.

An interpretation of labs and images from a TCM perspective as well as a review of what herbal medicine and/or supplements that you are taking to determine if you should continue or discontinue taking.

Work the treatment plan and check in on progress. Discuss treatment outcomes. If needed every 5 treatments you receive another finger prick to monitor your blood glucose, hemoglobin, blood pressure and total cholesterol.

In the  Acu-Reiki appointment we combine a follow up acupuncture appointment with Reiki, a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

Traditional Chinese Medicine nutrition and herbal therapy views a person as a whole in which body and mind are unified, each influencing and balancing the other. Traditional Chinese Medicine emphasizes a holistic approach that treats the whole person

The Acugraph scans your body and gives a graphical representation of how well each of the channels in the body is working.

Then the machine creates a food list for you to eat to use food as medicine for your specific condition.

This unique monthly event occurs on the third Sunday of each month and combines community style acupuncture with Sound Therapy create a one of a kind healing and relaxing experience.  

A sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves to help people relax and let go of stress, anxiety, or other worries and concerns.

Community acupuncture is a treatment that is offered in a small group setting to provide a collective healing energy and help improve physical and emotional wellbeing.
